Outlaw Acres is one
of the few accomplished versatility barns on Long Island. We specialize
in all forms of riding to meet all the needs of present and future
equestrians. At our barn we try to combine good breeding, good training,
and good riding, to produce a top quality horse and rider combination.
Whether you want to ride on a national level with the hopes of competing
in shows or you want to ride the trails with nothing but the wind
in your face, Outlaw Acres will give you the skills you need to
advance.
One of the most common
mistakes made in riding is thinking you don’t need lessons.
Our trainers take lessons from trainers, who take lessons, from
trainers. Horseback riding entails a never-ending process of learning
new techniques, procedures, and tricks of the trade.
The horses of Outlaw
Acres are well kept & bred. We have a large selection of quality
English, Western Pleasure, Gymkhana, Reining, Dressage, Working
Cow, and Trail horses. We set each new rider up with a trainer that
compliments his or her riding ability.
Our students have won
“end of year” awards locally with The Islip Horseman’s
Association, Eastern Gymkhana Association, Long Island Horseman’s
Association, Long Island Appaloosa Club, and New York Horse Riders
Alliance. They have won end of year Grand Champions, Reserve Champions,
Belt Buckles, Trophies, Blankets, Bridles, and Saddles. Some have
gone on to win at out of state shows in New Jersey, Upstate New
York, Connecticut, Texas, Florida, Oklahoma, Ohio and many other
states that hold breed shows. We are willing to travel with those
willing to ride on this level.
