Each youth learns breaking and training procedures and has to volunteer to work with the horse so many days a week to show him for the season. This gives the horses and ponies a strong bond with the youth making it easier to pass him
down to less accomplished riders for that kid tested mother approved quality.-------------------------------------
Jake is very good looking 2003 POA gelding, started over xxs , knows lead changes, great conformation and a real in your pocket kind of pony. He is ready to do fences, and you can lease or purchased him. He could do this spring the munchkin hunter, training hunter divisions and the pleasure division at local shows and we feel he will do well. With a good lesson program there is not reason he can't do special beginner or beginner with the right youth as well. He could also do walk jog in western pleasure with a youth, or beginner. Later like our other POA's do the Barrels and Poles.
Always sound we had him since a yearling UTD all shots and worming and ready to go. Clips, hauls, stands for shoer and loves to take a bath. Handled by children all the time. Great pedigree full of versatile champions top and bottom.
He is still green, and for a youth that has been riding in a serious program and can finish up a horse with a trainer. If he was finished he would have been off to the International sale for three times of what we are asking. He is however, better broke than horses we have seen advertised as finished. We just don't like to say the word finished till they are in fact finished.
If not sold he will be shown this season and I am sure we can used the word finished than,accompanied by a higher price tag.
Our POA stock is very versatile and we also can see him doing barrels, poles and western pleasure at POA shows or local shows. Trail rides and eventing is something he would also love doing. Like our other POA's who have won International titles in multiple disciplines and multiple High Point end of year awards at many clubs, we feel Jake can do it all. . Show him at home, or at rated and registered shows later on he will be a forever horse a small adult can ride and have fun on as well as their youth family riders.
